Unfortunately several people went off course, essentially these
results do not reflect the time lost but do reflect the relative competitive
positions. I have estimated my off course ramblings at over a minute and a half.
Darwin Pagett was ahead of me at the time and lost more. The leaders may have
experienced the same sort of confusion to a lesser degree. So what is not taken
into account is the deflated emotion when you go off course, I know I was slower
than I should have been over the last half of the course and I didn't gain 50
seconds on Mr. Pagett in that error.
