This is from the southwest corner of the track. The common finish area shows three sets of lines, positioned as the 800 staggered start (white), 400 start (blue), and 4xrelay (yellow). But in lane one, the marker on an imperial track, the 800 start is not twice the distance from the common finish line as the 400 start. Since the 800 is twice the distance of a 400, it is impossible for the difference to be anything BUT double the distance to the same finish line, whatever the difference of the length of the track. Obviously here it is not double, in fact the 400 start line is PAST the 800, which is completely impossible. Either the 400 is short or the 800 is long. There is no cascading passing zone, so they run 4x440 yards in the relay, so that gives us no reference either. Once that lane one is screwed up, all the other lanes are suspect because they could be relative to the initial error. And I am personally concerned because this is the track I ran my most recent fast 400 race on--I've never matched that time in over two years, I guess for obvious reasons.

See in lane 1, the white line is closer to the common finish than the blue. Assuming the white line is in the correct place, the blue line should be half way between the two, or the white line should be twice as far away from the common finish. Somehow it is wrong. On a normal imperial track the lines reverse between lanes 1 and 2 (or certainly 3). This track does not reverse.
