Some of the pictures have some unnatural distortion as I have blended photos for the wide panoramic effect.

Mt. SAC (Mount San Antonio College), Walnut

This is generally looking east. Most of the greats have competed here in the Mt. SAC Relays and even the National Championships. There is a version of the olympic flame to commemorate (behind the goalposts). The largest cross country meet is held here as well (the second mile is on the hill behind the stands you see. If you go down the chute you will see the various forms of surfacing of this historical track. The Long Jump runways there are from the 1970's, and on the curb you will find markers for one turn 440y, two turn 660y and three turn 880y races. Since the opposite turn has been modified (revealed by the extra outside lane) the marking no longer are relevant, but they are still screwed into the curb on both sides.
