Salinas High School

This is a separate stadium from the fake grass field for football, over the hill with the stands.

Second there is an extra wide section of all weather surface between the edge of the marked lane 6 and the retaining wall to the hill. It could be used as two additional sprint lanes but there is no lane line.

This is already a uniquely thin patch of land so the track has exceptionally tight turns and long straghtaways. Finally there is the purple colored inner line for lane 4. I have photographed this track twice, curiously the older night photography shows the colors better. On this opposite side of the track, there is no room for more lanes. It might have been but they are using this area for new constructed buildings and the village of temporary classrooms. They would have had to sacrifice a row of the parking lot in front of these temporary rooms to widen the track.
