Some of the pictures have some unnatural distortion as I have blended photos
for the wide panoramic effect.
Ventura High School
This is facing
southeast. Little did we know the mistakes being made--I didn't even think to
take measurements on flatness, but now the surface has been laid (and the installer
did make noticible efforts to correct for the errors), the subsurface is noticibly
not flat and the turns are banked. This photo is taken from a spot about ten
feet higher than the track but the near turn lines are not even visible.
This the painting of the 800 start line with the stencil for the 4x400 passing
zone still in place.
This is the painting of the hurdle marks, with the lane number stencils for
the 200 start still in place.
